Ygor Gama

When I was asked to join Arie Rain Glorie and T.R. Carter in their performance artwork, the question was raised; why are they choosing to perform in a white gallery? And why are their feet placed on the floor but they perform an action that suggests they are constantly falling? I decided to place them in a new context. For 15 days in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I rode through avenues, highways, and tunnels, on a bike and a wheelchair, side by side with cars, challenging the traffic, fighting for space.

For this project I have also collaborated with Sound Designers Guido Bucello, Pablo Bursztyn, and Martina Mora, and Director of Photography, and colour grader, Pablo Franco.
